AlphaUI - True Minimalism

AlphaUI Version 0.1b (official beta release)

There are two kinds of minimalists

• Low memory usage
• Low Clutter

Most UI compilations focus on one or the other. There is a common pitfall that minimalists have to face, at what point does minimalism affect functionality?

AlphaUI was created out of a necessity, an addon that does everything but with a minimal memory blueprint and extremely low clutter. Not only that but I made sure its fully based on wowinterface.com addons making it fully MMOUI Minioncompatible, that way you can auto update individual addons with ease.

• cargBags: Bag Framework, does nothing by itself

• chicchaai: minimized the chat window, gets extended on mouseover

• oUF: unit frame framework, does nothing by itself
• oUF_BarFader: fades the oUF bar
• oUF_Experience: adds an experience bar to oUF frames
• oUF_HealComm4: adds incoming heals to oUF frames
• oUF P3lim: oUF layout (modified to support BarFader)

• oUF Movable Frames: move all frames created by oUF
• tekability: durability readout in the character frame

If you are a raider or do a lot of party quests the addons I provided will not be enough. Here are my personal additions to my package, they are in the "Optional Addons" folder:

• auctionator: lightweight auction addon
• bigWigs: raiding addon
• littleWigs: WotLK party addon
• skada: damage meters (personally I only use Skada Damage)
• statscore: gives a score stat for equipment
• sThreatMeter2: threat meter

Fake FAQ
How can I configure Dominos like yours?
Dominos has a FadedOpacity option, what that does is determines the opacity without a mouseover. If you set it to zero, your bar only shows up when you mouseover it.

If you want a bar to show up only during combat there is a way to do it through Show States and adding the word "combat" (replaces the quotes with brackets). For more info check out the Dominos Wiki
