AUI

Essentially, this is a basic comp I put together to get as much out of the way during a raid as possible, while also allowing for the most information at the same time.

The addons used are:

This comp is made for resolutions of 1440x900 or bigger. anything smaller will require resizing and I have not tested that yet.

AUI 1.1 is uploaded. I made some last minute changes from what I posted, see below.

New in 1.1:

• Action bars are for the most part hidden. Only Bar1 is visible, and is at the very bottom of the screen. Basically invisible.
• New locations for the Player, Focus, Target, and Target of Target frames. Not yet set up for a healer UI, but that is coming in 1.2
• Chat frames have been moved, and so have Recount and Omen so there is more room for Grid, which now safely displays up to 40 people without bleeding over into other addons.
• If you don't like Recount or Omen, you can remove them to make room for another addon if you wish, or extend the chat frames.

In order to install this comp, do the following:

-Download and unzip the AUI.rar file
-Navigate to the WTF\Account folder and make the following changes:
--change ACCOUNT to the name of your WoW account
--navigate into the ACCOUNT folder, and change REALM to your realm name
--Navigate into the REALM folder and change the CHARACTER folder to the name of the character you wish to put this on. If you have multiple characters, make as many copies of the CHARACTER folder and rename them as needed.

Once this is done, make backups of both your own WTF folder and your AddOns folder. When that is done, copy the modified WTF folder and the new set of addons to the appropriate areas.


Now, to set it up in game, we are going to use a handy dandy little thing called Reflux. In game, type the following EXACTLY (spelling and capitalization counts!)

/reflux switch AUIGive it time to load and it will change everything with the profile AUI to the appropriate settings. This will not change any addons you have that are not part of the AUI file. Coming in AUI 1.2 AUI will have a healer profile set up that will be designed around Grid + Clique. There will be less necessary information on the UI, but the addons will not change. This means while some addons may be disabled, anyone can turn them on and do with them as they please (this will primarily be things like Recount and Omen). Please note that the healing UI will NOT be made compatible for 40-man battlegrounds.
